What size tent should I buy?
– 8×10 and 10×12 models are ideal for 2 people
– 12×14 model is ideal for 3 people
– 14×16 model is ideal for 4 people
– 16×20 model is ideal for 6 people
– 16×24 model is ideal for up to 8 people
These size estimates are taking into account cots, gear, and a stove so depending on your cap set up you could potentially fit an extra person.
If we don’t have a size big enough for your crew send us an email or call us and we are happy to accommodate a customized size.
What is the difference between a Standard and a Deluxe model?
The deluxe model offers more features including a double zipper mosquito net doorscreen with ties, and 2 windows. Whereas the standard model offers a single zipper door and a stove pipe with no windows. However as far as the manufacturing of the tent each is made the same. Both offer the stove pipe in the front left wall.
What is the difference between us and other manufacturers?
We all use the same 10.10 ounce sunforger canvas and have the same general model set up. We all use aluminum frames however we make our fittings in house and some others order in cast aluminum fittings. We use 1.5″ .065 aluminum for all of our frames.
